I’m Les-Ley
Nice to meet you, come on in and let’s chat!
Life can feel heavy at times. Whether from stress, relationship challenges, past trauma, or simply feeling stuck in old patterns that no longer serve you. You may want peace of mind, healthier connections, or a sense of direction, but the path forward feels unclear. You’re not alone, and reaching out for support is a powerful first step. As a Garland, Texas-based counseling intern, my goal is to help the families of North Texas build that insight, connection, and resilience, enabling you to live the life you want and deserve. The capacity for change already exists within you. Together, we’ll learn about, utilize, and strengthen those inner, resources.

A Little Bit About Me Professionally…
My path toward becoming a therapist began in Jamaica, where, within my own family, I faced the challenges posed by mental illness and addiction. These experiences inspired me to pursue a career in helping families heal and reconnect. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and am currently completing my master’s program, choosing to specialize in marriage, couples, and family therapy.
My clinical experience includes working at an intensive outpatient program (IOP), where I support clients recovering from addiction or criminal conduct. I helped clients manage anxiety and anger. Additionally, I trained at a psychiatric hospital, where I provided therapeutic services across the pediatric, adolescent, chemical dependency, psychiatric intensive care, geriatric, and adult units.
A Little About Me Personally…
A Little About Me Personally…
Outside of work, I enjoy watching historical and period dramas (Reign is my favorite), exploring true crime, and reading romance novels. I love shopping, embracing anything girly, and finding small joys that keep life balanced and fun.
I’m big on boundaries (I really value protecting my time and energy). I also love interior design, getting creative with spaces, and finding ways to make my surroundings feel cozy and beautiful
